How to Use & Care for Your Dishbar
First Use
Wet your scrubber and rub it directly on the bar to load up a good lather, then wash dishes as usual. You don't need to wet the bar itself — just your scrubber. A little goes a long way, especially on the first use when the surface is still smooth.
Compatible Scrubbers
The Dishbar works well with most common dish scrubbers — silicone brushes, dish wands, loofah pads, and traditional sponges all pick up lather easily. Natural-fiber brushes tend to hold a good lather and are a great zero-waste pairing.
Keeping the Bar Dry Between Uses
Soap bars last longest when they can dry out between washes. Store yours on a draining soap dish, a small rack, or any surface where water won't pool underneath. Avoid leaving it sitting in a wet sink or submerged — constant moisture will cause it to soften and wear down faster.
Expected Size Changes
Your bar starts at 5 ounces and will shrink with use — that's completely normal. As the flat top surface wears, it may develop grooves or an uneven shape, which actually makes it easier to grip and load your brush. The bar is fully usable right down to the last sliver.
